Welcome to OTTM!
Let me introduce myself, I am the original OTTM, creator of the OTTM Esty store and OTTM to two beautiful little girls.
When my oldest daughter was born she was 3 months early. I am a big advocator for research into Prematurity, especially since her little sister was also born 2 months early.
I decided that I needed to add as much magic into their lives as possible, while they were young enough to believe in it.
We celebrate Easter with the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy always makes an appearance, and our Elves visit us every year on December 1st.
Now that my oldest has learned the truth about where the magic comes from I am able to be a bit more open with what I do and we continue to make the magic happen for her little sister, and the rest of the family as they come along.
Our number one rule is to never kill the magic for anyone else, even if you think they are old enough to know, as that is how she found out herself, a friend spilled the beans and this mum had to come clean. On the bright side, she is now excited because it means she gets to help come up with ideas and set things up with me.... and I no longer have to stay up until midnight to set up an elf!

For some Back Story our Elf On The Shelf made his first appearance way back in 2018. James the Elf is more cheeky than naughty, he tends to not make such huge messes but more likely to get himself into some silly situations with other toys.
James brought his friend Olivia in 2021 when our youngest was born and now they both visit us from the 1st of December all the way through to Christmas day, where Santa sprinkles a bit of extra magic on them and they get lots of cuddles from the girls since they have been unable to touch them all month long. Then they head back to the North Pole Christmas night to prepare for the next years antics.
